Sarum Lights - Heaven and Earth

Tuesday 9th November 2021 to Saturday 13th November 2021

17:30 - 19:45
About the event

Created by artist Peter Walker and composer David Harper of Luxmuralis.

This family friendly festival of light and sound experience is back with all new content which shines the spotlight on the beauty and splendour of our galaxy and planet and helps us contemplate our personal place in the universe.

Soundscapes combined with spectacular projections both inside and outside the Cathedral will immerse you in the wonderous beauty of our world from sunrise to sunset and reflect on the fragility of nature and our impact on it.

Admire the wonderous expanse of space, the power and might of the ocean and the delicate flutter of a beautiful butterfly’s wings… and much, much more.

The spectacular itself will take about 1 hour to view in full, depending on how long you spend in each ‘zone’, 15 minute entry slots are in place to stagger people arrived and prevent long queues.
