What is the Cathedral made from? A Home Education Day at Salisbury Cathedral

Come and enjoy a day discovering what the Cathedral is made from and exploring the different materials found in the Cathedral. During the day, children will have the opportunity to explore how the Cathedral was built, try writing with a quill and make a craft-stained glass window.

Timings

The event starts at 10am. You are welcome to arrive at any time between 10am and 1:30pm. We recommend a minimum of 1 hr to enjoy the activities. The event finishes at 2:30pm.

Entry

Admission is £5 per child, which includes free entry for one adult per family group (up to a maximum of 5 children). Any additional adults will require a separate admission ticket.

Adult ticket options:
• Cathedral Admission: £12.50 in advance or £14.50 on the day
• Free Residents’ Entry for SP1, SP2, SP3, SP4 and SP5 postcode holders (proof of address required)
• Returning Annual Ticket Entry

Additional adult tickets can be bought through the ticket section of the website.

Adults are required to supervise their children throughout the day.
