On Saturday 1 August, Salisbury Cathedral will open its doors for a special evening visitor experience. The doors will reopen to visitors after evening services at 6.30pm, offering a rare opportunity to explore the Cathedral and Chapter House, home to Magna Carta, after hours.

Don’t miss the chance to see and hear the world’s oldest working mechanical clock in action. Join a free 15-minute guided demonstration and watch as the mechanism is unlocked, bringing the clock to life and allowing it to strike the bell.
