Opening Times

The Cathedral is open for public worship. Advance booking for services and visits is essential so that we can keep everyone safe - we need to manage the number of people in the building and support track and trace communications.

Please note the Cathedral, Refectory and Gift Shop are currently closed to visitors. Public worship is suspended until further notice.


Monday to Saturday

There are bookable entry slots every 30 minutes from 10:00 to 15:00.  You can enter up to 30 minutes after your time slot. The latest you will be able to enter the Cathedral is 15:30 and all visitors will need to leave by 16:00.

Extensive cleaning and Covid-19 safety measures have been put in place and the Cathedral has achieved Visit Britain's 'Good to Go' Covid-19 industry standard for visitor attractions, confirming that clear processes are in place to protect the safety of our worshippers, visitors, staff and volunteers.
