Opening Times

In line with government restrictions we are currently open for private prayer and contemplation from 10:00-13:00 Monday - Saturday but please check closures below for exceptions.

The Cathedral will reopen for public worship and general visiting on Thursday 3 December (as will our Refectory and Gift Shop).

Advance booking for services and visits is essential so that we can keep everyone safe - we need to manage the number of people in the building and support track and trace communications. Please check the bottom of this page for information about scheduled closures.

VISITING

Monday to Saturday

There are bookable entry slots every 30 minutes from 10:00 to 15:00.  You can enter up to 30 minutes after your time slot. The latest you will be able to enter the Cathedral is 15:30 and all visitors will need to leave by 16:00.

SCHEDULED CLOSURES

The Cathedral will be closed on Tuesday 1 and Wednesday 2 December.

Please note that everyone is required to wear a face covering inside the Cathedral unless you are exempt. You may find reading our frequently asked questions here helpful

Extensive cleaning and Covid-19 safety measures have been put in place and the Cathedral has achieved Visit Britain's 'Good to Go' Covid-19 industry standard for visitor attractions, confirming that clear processes are in place to protect the safety of our worshippers, visitors, staff and volunteers.
