Visit Salisbury Cathedral

With breathtaking views, Britain’s tallest spire and original 1215 Magna Carta, Salisbury Cathedral is one of England’s ‘must-see’ historical attractions.
Learn the incredible story of the Cathedral that, 800 years ago, defiantly moved 2 miles from Old Sarum to where it stands today.
Walk in the same space that has attracted travellers, merchants, and pilgrims for centuries and discover how this beautiful building was designed for daily worship which still continues today.
Then relax with picnic and admire this medieval masterpiece from our tranquil lawns or take a walk along the river in the nearby park and take in the views that inspired John Constable.
For alternative things to do you can explore the city centre and enjoy some retail therapy (on site parking is available).
We've reduced the number of people we welcome at one time for everyone’s safety so we recommend booking your visit in advance (especially if you want to guarantee entry). Watch the video below to learn about our COVID-19 safety measures.
