Spirit and Endeavour

Salisbury Cathedral celebrates its 800th anniversary this year with a world-class contemporary art exhibition.
Set against a spectacular backdrop of medieval architecture, you can view twenty iconic works by artists including Antony Gormley, Shirazeh Houshiary, Henry Moore, Grayson Perry, Conrad Shawcross, Stanza and Mark Wallinger and more.
Admire the sculpture, tapestry, kinetic and digital installations on our rolling lawns and inside the historic building then finish off with a delicious lunch in our atmospheric, open air cloisters. Or, take a walk along the river in the nearby park and take in the views that inspired John Constable!
We've reduced the number of people we welcome at one time for everyone’s safety so you'll need to book your visit in advance (especially if you want to guarantee entry). Access to the exhibition is included in your entry ticket.
