We look forward to welcoming you to Salisbury Cathedral.

During your visit we ask you  to ‘Respect-Protect-Enjoy’:

  • Respect the rules and guidance
  • Protect yourself and each other
  • Enjoy your visit with us.

To ensure everyone’s safety, we've reduced the number of people we can welcome at one time and you'll need to book your visit in advance. Tickets are currently released a week in advance. Please note that everyone is required to wear a face covering inside the Cathedral - to find out what to expect when you come, please visit our frequently asked questions

We depend on your generosity to raise the £14,000 it costs daily to maintain this incredible building and open it to the public. Please donate when you book.

Monday to Saturday: There are bookable entry slots every 30 minutes from 10:00 to 14:30.  You can enter up to 30 minutes after your time slot. The latest you will be able to enter the Cathedral is 15.00pm and all visitors will need to leave by 16:00.

We ask visitors to make a donation when they book - please make a donation when you book to help us survive these difficult times.

You can book online for both services and visits here

Extensive cleaning and Covid-19 safety measures have been put in place and the Cathedral has achieved Visit Britain's 'Good to Go' Covid-19 industry standard for visitor attractions, confirming that clear processes are in place to protect the safety of our worshippers, visitors, staff and volunteers.
