Architectural detail taken in the spire crossing
Access to the Cathedral from the Close is on the level and the Cathedral floor, Chapter House, Cloisters, Refectory Restaurant, Shop and toilets are fully wheelchair accessible. Three wheelchairs are available to borrow for use during your visit should you need them, please ask at our Welcome Desk.

"Touch and Feel" model of the Cathedral with a linked commentary is available for those with sight difficulties and a hearing loop system is available during services. We can provide you with our self-guiding leaflet, hymn books and service sheets in large print on request. Assistance dogs are very welcome - water is available for them near the Refectory Restaurant Entrance. 
A limited amount of disabled parking is available in the Close at a charge of £7 for the full day.
