The London Concertante ensemble bring their lush string arrangements, a swinging rhythm section, and sparkling trumpet, with a show that takes audiences on a journey through legendary interpretations of the Great American Songbook – from Gershwin to Porter, Berlin to Duke Ellington — alongside Ella’s unforgettable collaborations with Louis Armstrong. There are also nods to some of the other jazz icons who shaped her era, including Billie Holiday, Nina Simone and Sarah Vaughan.
