Candlemas Teaching Evensong

Join us for a special Evensong where children and their families from across our festive services are invited back to help us conclude the Christmas season. Learn about Evensong, one of our daily services, in a child-friendly way. Hear the story of Candlemas, and discover how the music of Evensong reminds us every day why Christmas is important. The Cathedral’s Junior Choir will sing the service with our choristers and Lay Vicars, and we will bless the figures/wooden people that have been decorated and added to our Nativity scene throughout the Advent and Christmas seasons.
