The Eucharist with Procession of Palms
A retelling of Jesus’ triumphant entry into Jerusalem
This service begins on Choristers’ Green, where palm crosses are distributed and blessed, before moving to the West Font of the Cathedral, recalling Jesus’ procession into Jerusalem on a donkey.
We also hear the account of Jesus’ betrayal, abandonment, crucifixion and death from Matthew’s Gospel, sung by the Choir.
