An Introduction to the Gospel of Mark (repeat sitting)

Dates 23 Jan 2024
In Sarum College, SP1 2EE

An Introduction to the Gospel of Mark led by Canon Treasurer Kenneth Padley

This is a re-run of Kenneth’s exploration of the biblical book from which most Sunday morning gospel readings will be taken in 2024.

Mark’s gospel was once derided as short and late. It is now acknowledged to be the earliest life of Jesus and so vital to our understanding of his life and mission. This evening will consider the structure of Mark and its core themes – secrecy and proclamation, exorcism and conflict, faith and doubt.

Entry is free but places are limited so prior booking is essential.
