An Introduction to the Gospel of Mark – Fully booked

Dates 27 Nov 2023

Monday 27th November 7.30pm in Sarum College, SP1 2EE

Led by Canon Treasurer Kenneth Padley

Prepare for Advent and the new Church year by exploring the book from which most Sunday morning gospel readings will be taken in 2024.

Mark’s gospel was once derided as short and late. It is now acknowledged to be the earliest life of Jesus and so vital to our understanding of his life and mission. This evening will consider the structure of Mark and its core themes – secrecy and proclamation, exorcism and conflict, faith, and doubt.

All tickets are now allocated; a repeat may be organised in early 2024.

Please note that parking is not available at Sarum College. Travel options are listed here.
