Photograph Salisbury Cathedral in a New Light

Early morning photography sessions

On 28 February and 7 March, amateur photographers are invited to photograph the interior of the Cathedral at dawn, taking inspiration from The English Cathedral: an exhibition of photos by the Late Magnum Photographer Peter Marlow. Mirroring Peter Marlow’s approach, photographers will have the rare opportunity to capture the interior of the medieval cathedral as the sun rises, with no artificial light, before the first service of the day and visitors arrive.

Saturday 28 February and Saturday 7 March at 6.45am – 8.15am
Places for this photo session are FREE but must be booked online in advance, due to limited capacity
Photographers are welcome to stay for Morning Prayer in the Trinity Chapel at 8.30am
Please note that tripods cannot be used at these sessions
