Salisbury Cathedral's Organ Recital Series continues. 
 

08/08/2018 - Benjamin Sheenwho is Associate Organist at St Thomas Church, Fifth Avenue, New York, gives the fifth recital of our 2018 Organ Recital Series. He will perform works by Bach, Debussy, Liszt, Parry and Willan.

 

Join us on Saturday 25th August at 19.00 for an Organ Prom, in aid of The Organ Fund. Enjoy all your classical favourites played on our great Father Willis Organ by David Halls and John Challenger. Please see here for booking details. The full programme can now be viewed below.

 

12/09/2018 - The Emery Recital: Robert Sharpe, who is Director of Music at York Minster, gives the sixth recital of our 2018 Organ Recital Series. He will perform works by Alcock, Bach, Francis Jackson, Philip Moore and Paul Spicer.

10/10/2018 - The final organ recital before renovation will be given by the three Cathedral Organists, David Halls, John Challenger and Alexander Palotai, made up of requests by members of the audience. If you wish to request an organ piece, please contact the Cathedral's Assistant Director of Music, John Challenger (j.challenger@salcath.co.uk), by 1 September. Musical requests will be selected and the programme published on our website by 1 October. Reception to follow.

 

Booking details

All recitals take place at 19.30 (except for the Organ Prom which starts at 19.00) in the Cathedral, and feature big screen projection.
