Any use of an unmanned aircraft (or drone) for recreational purposes or for photographic purposes within the Close is prohibited unless specific permission is granted. General Photography

We are proud of our beautiful Cathedral and are happy that so many wish to take photographs of it to share with others - as such we have a photography fee for images taken for personal use within the Cathedral. For conservation reasons, no photography is permitted of our original 1215 Magna Carta housed in the Chapter House.

Commercial Photography

If you require a photograph for commercial use, we have an extensive image library we can draw on or we can arrange for you to come on site at a convenient time to capture the images needed. Charges are considered on a case by case basis - please email details of your requirements to press@salcath.co.uk.
