Extensive cleaning and Covid-19 safety measures have been put in place and the Cathedral has achieved Visit Britain's 'Good to Go' Covid-19 industry standard for visitor attractions, confirming that clear processes are in place to protect the safety of our worshippers, visitors, staff and volunteers.

To ensure everyone’s safety, we've reduced the number of people we can welcome at one time. You'll need to book your visit in advance - tickets are currently released a week in advance. 

In line with goverment regulations all bookings are restricted to 6 people or 2 households in total. Face coverings are required throughout the Cathedral and Cloisters, unless you are exempt. 

We have a one-way system in operation to ensure visitors are able to socially distance with ease at entrance and exit points.

Special cleaning procedures have been put in place and hand sanitiser placed at strategic points throughout the Cathedral
