It costs £14,000 per day to run our glorious medieval cathedral and we are greatly assisted by a dedicated group of over 600 volunteers. We receive no financial support from the government or the Church of England. It is our donors who fund the vital repair work to the fabric of the building, and help us to deliver outstanding music to make real the glory and presence of God in the world for more than 250,000 visitors every year. We need your help to preserve this iconic Cathedral for generations to come. We are always grateful for any support you can give us whether it is your time as a volunteer or by making a donation towards our work.
