And so the Barons met King John at Runnymede. He really didn't want to agree to these new rules as it would limit his power but the Barons were firm. King John must agree or they would take his money. In the end King John had no choice, he had to do what the Barons wanted and so Magna Carta was sealed on 15 June 1215.
