With the Salisbury clean up operation well underway, the Cathedral is in the process of installing a new artwork that carries a message of resilience, peace and hope.

Les Colombes by multimedia artist Michael Pendry features a flock of around 2,500 white origami doves that ‘fly’ the length of the Cathedral nave. A work-in-progress video can be viewed here

Les Colombes opens to the public on Saturday 12 May.

Alongside the installation #SalisburyCityofDoves, a community project inspired by Michael Pendry’s work and supported by Wiltshire Recovery Co-ordinating Group, is also in progress, extending message across the city. For details of participating businesses click here.

The Cathedral and Wiltshire Recovery Co-ordinating Group want as many people as possible to get involved in #SalisburyCathedralCityofDoves to show the strength and power of our community.
