After a well-received Royal visit which saw hundreds of people turn out to show their appreciation, The Lord Lieutenant of Wiltshire, Mrs Sarah Rose Troughton, received a letter from HRH The Prince of Wales, thanking the people of Salisbury for their resilience after the recent incidents.
Prince Charles and Camilla arrived by helicopter, landing on the lawn behind the Bishop’s Palace. The royal pair were met by children from Salisbury Cathedral School and made their way through the Close and into the city.
On behalf of HRH The Prince of Wales, the Lord Lieutenant has asked if this message could be widely publicised to the community of Salisbury - please download the file below to view the letter.
