A Prayer for the World at a time of uncertainty and fear

Posted By : Tom Clammer Tuesday 30th June 2015

Dear Lord,

the world seems to be a frightening and uncertain place,

and we feel helpless and confused;

we lift up before you all of those caught up

in the terrorist attack in Tunisia,

the injured and the murdered,

the bereaved and the terrorised;

we lift up before you the nation of Greece,

and all those who fear for their economic future;

we lift up before you our own fragile and complicated lives

and we ask you to have mercy on us,

to bless us, and to gift us with your grace

and the hope that comes from knowing you,

our friend and brother, Jesus Christ. Amen.

Tom Clammer, Canon Precentor
