A Prayer following the Orlando Massacre

God our comfort and our shelter, The world seems full of pain and fear And we come to you confused and shocked

You are here

A Prayer following the Orlando Massacre

Posted By : Tom Clammer Monday 13th June 2016

God our comfort and our shelter,

The world seems full of pain and fear

And we come to you confused and shocked

By the horrifying homophobic events in Orlando,

Yet we know that you are eternal love and light; In the deepest darkness please give us hope That light can conquer the darkness, Surround the bereaved with your grace, Change the hearts of the perpetrators, And to those who have died give the comfort of your presence,

Through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
