There's an opportunity for girls and boys in school years 2,3 and 4, who wants to find out what it is like to Be a Chorister for a Day, when our Music Department and Cathedral School throw open their doors and share their music with children from across the Diocese and beyond.
On Saturday 11 November at 12:30 children who would like to experience what it is like to be a chorister and sing with the Salisbury Cathedral Choir is invited to join the choristers and staff from the Cathedral Music Department and Cathedral School for a day of fun, singing and activities.
Parents can come along too and, while the children are off exploring life as a chorister, they can find out what being a chorister parent entails. The day ends with a special Evensong performed by all the visiting children and choristers.
This special day is open to anyone who would like to Be a Chorister for A Day. You don't have to play instruments or read music, you just have to be someone who likes to sing. To register for the event, just download an application form from the Cathedral website or contact Kathy Davies on firstname.lastname@example.org or 07979 378926. It could be the start of an amazing journey.
