A big thank you to the Cathedral's fundraisers, two of whom won awards this year for their efforts in the annual Historic Churches Trust Ride+Stride event

Development officer Natalie Downing won a prize for raising the second most money of any strider in Wiltshire, notching up an impressive 11 churches on foot, whilst Archie Price, son of the Cathedral's Clerk of the Works Gary Price, won a prize for the most churches visited in the under-16 category. 14-year-old old Archie biked to 27 churches with his dad Gary and older brother Harry.

The Cathedral Ride+Striders were just one of hundreds of teams and individuals across the country who part in the fundraising event on Saturday 8 September. Between them they raised a total £1420, which will be shared between the Cathedral and the Wiltshire Historic Churches Trust.

This is the third time a Cathedral team have entered Ride+Stride
