We look forward to welcoming you to the Cathedral during Advent and Christmas.

The latest information about our services during this special time can be found below.

Carols by Candlelight
Our Christmas Carol services will be held on Wednesday 22 December and Thursday 23 December (both starting at 19:00).

Due to Covid-19 precautions, our seating capacity for this service is limited compared to previous years. Therefore, this year in contrast to previous years, it is essential that you book your seat for free in advance.

All tickets will be allocated on a first come first served basis. You can reserve tickets from Wednesday 1 December, 10:00.

As in previous years, saving seats once in the Cathedral will not be permitted, so members of a group wishing to sit together will need to queue together with their pre-ordered tickets.

It is essential that you are seated 30 minutes before the services begin (18:30 for the Carols by Candlelight Services).

You must print, or show on your phone, each individual ticket you have ordered, so that each one can be individually scanned.

If you would like to book a seat for a wheelchair user or someone with specific access needs, in the South Transept, please book by telephone on 01722 512112 so that we can fully understand and accommodate your needs.

There is no parking in the Close apart from for those requiring disabled parking. Parking is available for Disabled Badge Holders only, on a first-come, first-served basis.

If, after you have booked your place(s), you find you are no longer able to attend, please return them by using the phone line 01722 512112 or emailing litmus@salcath.co.uk. This is so that someone else may attend.

If you wish to be added to the waiting list for returned tickets, please email litmus@salcath.co.uk.
