Visiting the Archive

We welcome all enquiries relating to the archive.

We are able to answer general questions relating to the type of documents in the archive and you are most welcome to visit to carry out your own research on specific documents. Due to limited staffing resources access to study any specific document(s) should be arranged in advance with the library and archive staff - a letter of introduction or a reference may be required

If you have a general interest in the library and archive then you are very welcome to attend our regular events focusing on the collections: these include free talks, occasional library open days and other special events.  You can also book a place on our monthly specialist library tours follows by a cream tea.
