Family Activity Trails
There are activity trails available free of charge inside the Cathedral, except during services.
Explore Salisbury Cathedral's Medieval History - This new trail helps families discover some fascinating facts and features of the Cathedral whilst following the current one-way system.
Spires, Stones and Saints Activity Trail - helps families explore some of the important and quirky features of this ancient place. From measuring the wind speed at the top of the spire to finding hidden drawings, there is much to entertain and intrigue.
Ghost Knight Activity Trail - takes you to the locations mentioned in the novel Ghost Knight by award-winning children's writer Cornelia Funke. This story trail invites you to come and see the tomb of the noble knight William Longespee whose help Jon and Ela seek to defeat the baddie.
For younger children age 5 - 7, the Explorer Bag is available for a refundable £5 deposit from the Donations Desk. The bag contains a child friendly guide booklet and an array of interesting items to help younger visitors explore the Cathedral.
