Wednesday 18th July 2018 to Saturday 21st July 2018
The annual Southern Cathedrals Festival, featuring performances by nearly 100 choristers and 24 adult male singers from Chichester, Salisbury and Winchester Cathedrals, will take place in Salisbury Cathedral, Salisbury Cathedral School and St Thomas's Church. The Festival will mark the centenary of the end of World War I and also the death of Sir Hubert Parry.
As well as five services (one to be recorded by the BBC), three major choral concerts and an organ recital, the programme will also include:
Late Night Bach - an opportunity to enjoy the candlelit stillness of the Cathedral while listening to Bach's piano recitals. Played over three nights, Wednesday 18th, Thursday 19th and Friday 20th July.
Youth in Music - three concerts celebrating young musical talent, taking place in the Cathedral School on Thursday 19th and Friday 20th in the afternoon and in St Thomas's Church on Saturday afternoon.
Elgar, the Great War and Wood Magic - a lecture recital exploring Elgar's chamber works will take place in the Cathedral School on Thursday 20th in the morning.

From 19 July tickets will be available from the Festival Box Office in the Cathedral Close.
Tickets will also be available at concert venues from 45 minutes prior to the performance.
