'Pulling Out the Stops’ Curator’s Talk by Dr Alexandra Woodall

Pulling out the stops exhibition

Come and hear a talk from Dr Alexandra Woodall, curator of our ‘Pulling Out the Stops’ exhibition. You will learn more about our famous 1877 Father Willis organ and its restoration and hear about how the exhibition was put together.

Dr Woodall is an experienced museum professional and researcher. She has managed learning and interpretation programmes for organisations including Museums Sheffield, Manchester Art Gallery, Royal Armouries in Leeds, and the Sainsbury Centre for Visual Arts at the University of East Anglia. Her PhD is from the School of Museum Studies at the University of Leicester and explores sensory engagements with objects in art galleries. She is also involved in museological research in India. She is a mentor and professional reviewer for the Museums Association, part of the Women Cultural Leaders Network, and is currently working as a cultural consultant.
