Internationally acclaimed organist, improviser and transcriber David Briggs inaugurates our famous, newly restored ‘Father’ Willis Organ in a fitting way with his transcription of Mahler’s epic second symphony, known as the ‘Resurrection’ Symphony. An unforgettable experience.
He is joined by distinguished soloists Judith Howarth (soprano) and Avery Amereau (contralto), Salisbury Cathedral Choir and Salisbury Musical Society, conducted by David Halls. Live video-link to the organ loft.
