If you would like to book a seat for a wheelchair user or specific access needs, in the South Transept, please book by telephone 01722 512112 so that we can fully understand and accommodate your needs. 

All standard seats have now been allocated for all three services. If you would like to be added to a waiting list for any returns. Please email with your request


Due to Covid-19 precautions, our seating capacity for this service is very limited compared to previous years.  Therefore, this year in contrast to previous years, all seating was allocated on a first come first served basis.

Please note that, as in previous years, saving seats once in the Cathedral will not be permitted, so members of a group wishing to sit together will need to queue together with their pre-ordered tickets.  Doors open at 16:00 and it is essential that you are seated by 16:30.

You must print, or show on your phone, each individual ticket you have ordered, so that each one can be individually scanned.

There is no parking in the Close apart from for those requiring disabled parking.  Parking is available for Disabled Badge Holders only, on a first-come, first-served basis.

Places at for all three services are now allocated. If you have a question about your existing booking, please call 1722 512112 (09:00 - 17:00 Monday to Friday only). 

If, after you have booked your place(s), you find you are no longer able to attend, please return them by using the phone line or emailing  This is so that someone else may attend. If you wish your name to be added to a waiting list for returned tickets please email

Children under 2 do not require a ticket, but are expected to sit on their parents’ lap.



  • Please wear a face mask inside the Cathedral building, especially when moving around the space (our staff and volunteers will be wearing them).
  • Please take a lateral flow test before attending, and do not attend if you have Covid symptoms.
  • Please note that guidance is constantly changing, and we will notify you of any changes.
  • The service features the Cathedral Choir.
  • None of the services will be live streamed.

Please do not arrive without a ticket/seat reservation as you will not be able to gain entry.

You must print off and bring a paper copy of each of your tickets, or show each ticket on your phone, to gain entry on the day.
