From Darkness to Light: The Advent Procession

Starting in total darkness this spectacular service ends with the Cathedral lit by over 1,300 candles for the start of Advent. Our annual Procession combines exquisite music, candlelight, Bible readings and favourite Advent carols in an extraordinary and moving service lasting about an hour.
Please note there is no public ticketing, please come to the Cathedral on the night and queue in the Cloisters where seasonal refreshments will be available. Doors open one hour before start.
Seats for the disabled can be reserved by contacting the department of liturgy and music on 01722 555125 or is available for Disabled Badge holders only. 
Queuing under cover in the Cloisters from 17:00.  Seasonal Refreshments will be available.

Doors open: 18:00

Service starts: 19:00

All are welcome but no admission will be allowed once seats are filled.

The Refectory Restaurant will be serving a 1 or 2 course Meal in the Refectory, followed by coffee & mince pie, after the service.  For further details and to reserve your table please contact
