Christmas Wreaths

Wednesday 10th November 2021 to Tuesday 7th December 2021

About the event

Real wreaths, made with holly, spruce and all kinds of other evergreen foliage and packed with pine cones and berries, are a lovely and traditional way to welcome guests as well as the postman delivering your Christmas mail.

These circular wreaths individually handmade by the Cathedral Flower Arranging team will measure approximately 12 - 14 inches in diameter and come complete with a wire hook for you to attach to your door over the Feast of Christmas. They should last for at least 3 weeks if spritzed occasionally with water.

They can, of course, be hung indoors, or are lovely to use as table decorations, particularly if a candle is placed in the centre. If you choose to keep them inside your house, they should be kept away from direct heat and their life will be a little shorter than those hung in the fresh air.

No two wreaths will be the same but all will bring the beauty of nature to your home over the Christmas season.

Priced at £30, the wreaths are available by pre-order only and stocks are limited - orders will close on 7 December 2021.

Please note that all orders will need to be collected - we are unable to offer a delivery service. Wreaths will be available for collection from the south cloister inside the Cathedral between 10:00-14:00 on Tuesday 14 December.
