Concert: Celebrating the 400th anniversary of William Byrd

A special concert featuring songs that would have been played and sung in Elizabeth I’s court are performed by acclaimed tenor Nicholas Mulroy, accompanied by one of Europe’s leading lute players, Elizabeth Kenny.

The concert will feature Byrd’s Songs, Sonnets and Psalmes and will be an opportunity to hear his music in a more intimate setting.

The concert will take place in the Trinity Chapel at 15.00 on Sunday 21 May 2023.
