Closures
Occasionally the Cathedral, or parts of it, may need to close or only offer restricted access for
a service, special event or day to day maintenance. We try to minimise these periods as much as
we can, as we know that people travel long distances to visit us. As soon as we know about a
closure it will be posted below. Please remember to check for last minute changes prior to
your visit as some events, such as funerals, are only arranged at short notice.
12:00pm - 2:00pm 23rd August 2010
The Quire
- Due to a funeral taking place there will be no access to the Quire from 12-2.00pm today.
All other areas of the Cathedral will remain open as normal.
12:00pm - 2:00pm 3rd September 2010
The Trinity Chapel
- Due to a service taking place there will be no access to the Trinity Chapel from 12-2.00pm today.
All other areas remain open to visitors as normal.
10:30am - 1:00pm 9th October 2010
The Cathedral
- Due to a service taking place there will be no visitor access from 10.30am until 1.30pm.
The shop and restaurant remain open as normal.
