Groups and Travel Trade

Visitors photograph the font at Salisbury Cathedral

Salisbury Cathedral actively works with the domestic and international travel trade markets and welcomes over a quarter of a million visitors each year. Home to the finest of the four surviving Magna Carta 1215,  the Cathedral is one of Britain's most iconic heritage and tourist attractions with Britain's tallest church spire (123m).  Visitors enjoy an award-winning welcome!

Easily accessible from London, the South coast of England, Bath and Stonehenge, it's a great addition to your itinerary.

In addition to our Standard Package for groups, we offer a Premier Package that includes Cathedral/Magna Carta/Essentially English cream tea in the Refectory and 10% off in the Cathedral shop £12.50.

New to 2016, our Vintage Tea Package includes Cathedral/Magna Carta/special high tea with cake and sandwiches, available for £16 from The Bell Tower Tea Rooms.

We also offer a range of special interest and behind the scenes tours and work with clients to develop bespoke packages to enhance their itineraries.

The recommended dwell time for a standard visit is 90 minutes although longer and shorter visits are possible.  For groups working on tighter schedules it is possible to do a highlights tour in 45 minutes.

The Cathedral's onsite Refectory Restaurant also welcomes groups offering a variety of refreshment options.

We have a dedicated groups and travel trade telephone information and booking line (see below).
