Saturday 4 February, 10.00am - 4.00pm
Landscape Art from a Contemporary Perspective
Follow in the footsteps of Constable and use the inspiration of the Cathedral and its beautiful surroundings to create your own take on the landscape. Using the medium of pastel or collage or even mixed media, explore the techniques and skills with landscape artist Annie Campbell. All materials provided. Great for both beginners and the more experienced. £30.00 per person.
Saturday 25 February, 10.00am - 3.00pm
Calligraphy for Beginners
If you have admired the elegant penmanship used to create spectacular documents and letters and wondered how it is done, then this is the course for you. Follow tutor Dr Rosemary Smith's examples and work through exercises learning how to produce beautiful italics of distinction. All materials provided. Suitable for beginners and also those looking to improve their skills. £25 per person.

Textile Art: Nifty Notebooks
Design your own unique handmade cover for a notebook or sketchbook, inspired by textile artist Janet McCallum. Decorate with simple paint techniques and embellish with couching, embroidery and beading. Finish with beautiful buttons and ribbons or handmade cord. All materials provided. Only very basic sewing skills required. £25.00 per person.
