BBC 'The People's Passion' every day on BBC Wiltshire through to Monday 9 April, BBC Radio 3 'In Tune' Monday 2 April from 4.30pm, BBC Radio 4 'Cathedral Conversation: Art and Architecture', Wednesday 4 April at 1.45pm, BBC FOUR major documentary 'Angelic Voices: The Choristers of Salisbury Cathedral' 7.30pm - 9.00pm, Good Friday,6 April. BBC Wiltshire (103.5FM) The People’s Passion - beginning Sunday 1 April, 6.00-10.00am Listen to Sunday Breakfast for the start of Faith Producer Heather Skull’s series on the life and purpose of Salisbury Cathedral in the 21st century. Interviews with clergy, people who work here, members of the congregation, and volunteers. Features throughout Holy Week on Breakfast, Morning and Afternoon programmes, Easter Sunday live broadcast from the Cathedral Cloisters 6.00-10.00am.
Monday 9 April at 6.00am (repeated 6.00pm) an hour long documentary ‘The People’s Passion’ concludes the in-depth series.

BBC Radio 3 (92.00FM) ‘In Tune’, Monday 2 April, 4.30pm – 6.00pm The girl choristers perform ‘live’ on what is Radio 3’s flagship weekday programme with Sean Rafferty. Hear them perform Mendelssohn, Purcell and more. David Halls, Cesca Eaton (director and producer of ‘Angelic Voices’ documentary) and four choristers (two boys and two girls) are all interviewed about the documentary. Listen again here.

BBC Radio 4 (94.2FM), Wednesday 4 April, 1.45pm – 2.00pm The People’s Passion: Cathedral Conversation – Art and Architecture Novelist Salley Vickers and architect Ptolemy Dean discuss the timeless beauty of Salisbury Cathedral. Salley has written about cathedral art in several of her books. Ptolemy advises on restoration works for cathedrals including Salisbury (he is also a member of their Fabric Advisory Committee). Together they take a tour that begins in the roof-space ('like a Wiltshire barn') and ends in the Chapter House with its famous carved scenes from the Bible. Listen again here.

BBC FOUR, Good Friday 6 April, 7.30pm, Angelic Voices: The Choristers of Salisbury Cathedral A second opportunity to see Cesca Eaton’s wonderful 90 minute documentary. The choristers are followed as they go about their day-to-day lives, discovering their own history and singing some of the most loved music spanning six centuries. It was chosen as: RADIO TIMES - DOCUMENTARY OF THE WEEK - "...unmissable...exquisite...surprisingly moving...".
