Lectures

Magna Carta 800th anniversary 2015, Salisbury Cathedral

Salisbury Cathedral offers a range of lectures and talks on a variety of subjects every year. Open to the public, these lectures cover different aspects of the Cathedral's life, history and art. With a range of eminent speakers and experts, these lectures offer a chance to look in more depth at subjects.

With every art installation and exhibition hosted by the Cathedral there is always a supporting programme of talks, discussions and lectures often led by the artists themselves.

The Cathedral also plays host to the Sarum Lectures in the summer, administered by our partners at Sarum College and focussing on key theological teachings.  Please see here for more details.

In the Autumn of 2016 our lectures will be focussed on WW1: More information about our WW1 lectures can be found here.
