How You Can Help
There are many ways in which you can choose to help.
Making a donation
You may wish to donate both directly to the Cathedral or perhaps through one of the other
charities which supports different aspects of our work. If you donate to the Cathedral,
unless you specify otherwise the money will be used to fund our general day to day activities
Make a donation:
- directly to the Cathedral
- to one of the Choral Trust Foundations
- to the Friends of Salisbury Cathedral
- to The Cathedral Trust
Which opportunity you choose, please remember that if you are a UK tax payer, by Gift Aiding your donation we can re-claim a further 28% from the Government, without any cost to you.

Becoming a volunteer
Over 600 people give their time and skills to help the Cathedral provide a warm welcome
to visitors and worshippers. There are a range of opportunities for those who wish to
help. Full training is given for your particular role. For more information please
