Quire - new home for the choir after the Reformation

Back in the 13th century the building of Salisbury Cathedral was only possible because of donations: gifts of money from local clergy; and of stone, from Teffont Evias Quarry.  Today only donations will keep the Cathedral alive for future generations.

If you value our Cathedral, and all it represents please consider making a bequest in your Will.  You can choose to help maintain the fabric of the building or support our music or education and outreach work.

Any bequest is 100% exempt from inheritance Tax and anyone leaving 10% of their taxable estate to charity will qualify for a reduced rate of inheritance tax.
