Unlocking Treasures Lecture Series 2016: Parish Churches

Tuesday 12th January 2016

Our Lecture Series for 2016 brings three high profile speakers to Salisbury Cathedral.

The first in the series is Parish Churches by  John Goodall, architectural historian, currently Architectural Editor of Country Life.

John will be looking at the treasurers of parish churches, which are living repositories for a breathtaking array of artistic treasures from painting to ironwork, sculpture to stained glass and furniture and architecture. This illustrated talk will explore the richness of this outstanding inheritance and the challenges of preserving and conserving it for the future.
