The 2016 festival, a 16 day celebration that sees Salisbury resound with artistic encounters of all kinds and this year's festival begins with the Opening Ceremony in the Cathedral Close.

Friday 27 May, 20:00 – FREE Whakatuwhera: An Opening Ceremony, A Festival commission for Ngati Ranana & Salisbury Festival Chorus

Saturday 28 May - Early Opera Company: Handel's Acis and Galatea

Monday 30 May, 11:00 – 18:00 – FREE City Encounters

Thursday 2 June - Salisbury Cathedral - Vox Luminis: The Bach Dynasty

Friday 3 and Saturday 4 June, 17:00 & 19:00 - Dance Six-O: This Very Moment - We Gather

Saturday 4 June -15:00 - FREE A Massed Haka Workshop

Monday 6, Tuesday 7 & Wednesday 8 June, 18:00 & 20:00 - A Folded Path: Circumstance

Saturday 11 June - Philharmonia Orchestra: with Martyn Brabbins and Benjamin Baker

Sunday 12 June, 10:30 - Festival Eucharist and FREE Whakakopaki A Closing Ceremony
