Visit the Cathedral's 15th century Library which contains over 10,000 books dating as far back as far as 9th century. During the tour a Cathedral expert will show a range of books specially selected to demonstrate the importance and variety of this unique collection.
Tours start at 14.00 and last approximately 45 minutes, followed by a delicious cream tea in the Refectory restaurant at 15.00. Show you tickets at the Welcome desk and wait to be collected.
The Library lies above the Cloisters and is accessed via a small winding stone staircase with 37 steps, some of which are uneven. Due to access this tour may not be suitable for some visitors.
