Lent Programme: The Range of Writings in the Old Testament

Our theme throughout 2017 is 'Memory and Identity' and we will explore this in our Lent programme. 

During the course of our Lent programme this year, two evenings on how Jewish traditions affect Christianity and two on how Christian identity is formed by remembrance in the Eucharist. These four evenings will have a common structure: a brief act of worship, a talk by Edward Probert  or Tom Clammer, group work and Compline.

Other Meetings details to follow but will include:

Optional daytime or evening study groups to work on the themes mentioned above.

Book groups, we will suggest a number of books which you may read together through the season.

Film nights, films which resonate with our theme followed by discussion.

And lastly, we will invite you to commit to some fresh element of service, and will offer suggestions.
